Series "V" valves are designed for the control of pneumatic pressures from partial vacuum to 200 psi (14 bar). However, the use of standard O ring seals makes it possi ble to supply many different compounds in order to meet varying conditions of media and temperature. In general, the standard NBR (Nitrile) O rings used in Series "V" valves allow application for most general industrial use. Ambient temperatures below freezing require moisture free air and the use of suitable lubrication.
